Some teams look like they don't have one capable quarterback. Clay Matthews JerseysThe Green Bay Packers look like they have several.

To no one's surprise, Aaron Rodgers looked sharp in what was an unexpected appearance in Saturday's preseason game at Washington.

But what followed Rodgers was as fine a display of backup quarterbacking as you'll see in preseason games, Jordy Nelson Jerseyswhen backup offensive linemen make it more of a scramble drill than usual.

First, Brett Hundley showed the same kind of command of the offense he did in 2015, when as a rookie he led the NFL in preseason passing yards. Later, undrafted rookie Taysom Hill electrified the Packers' sideline with a zig-zagging 23-yard touchdown run. Only Joe Callahan, who took two series in between Hundley and Hill, failed to put any points on the board.

After Rodgers led an impressive 15-play, 75-yard touchdown drive that he capped with a 3-yard touchdown toss to new tight end Martellus Bennett, Hundley played the rest of the first half and the opening series of the third quarter. Randall Cobb JerseysHe completed 9 of 10 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown -- a 5-yard swing pass to rookie running back Aaron Jones three plays after he placed a perfect sideline pass to Jeff Janis for a 38-yard gain.

"I thought Brett probably had one of his best nights as a Packer," coach Mike McCarthy said.

It was an important showing for Hundley, Eddie Lacy Jerseyswho looked a little rusty in last week's preseason opener after he missed most of last summer's action because of an ankle injury.
